The story of the creation of the team began in the city of Las Vegas, when bassist Zoltan Buttery decided to put together a new band. Earlier he performed together with the U.P.O. collective.
In early 2006 he was joined by bassist Matt Snell, and then Butteri contacted former Motogreator vocalist Ivan Moody, offering to audition for the role of vocalist, he agreed and later became a full-fledged member of the band.
Success in the online charts and active concert activity contributed to the band signing a contract with the reputable management company The Firm.
The first single from the album, "The Bleeding", was released on July 13, and the main album The Way of the Fist was released on July 31.

The single "The Bleeding" became a hit, went Top 10 and was on the radio for 8 months

The most viewed video of the band (more than 400 million views at the moment), is full of deep meaning, the plot, which in 2−3 words tells about the life after the war of 4 comrades-in-arms, caught in a hot firefight.
5FDP pay a lot of attention to military themes, more specifically, to the fates of those who participate in military operations and suffer in the name of democracy of the powerful.
